Escape the hustle and bustle of the city on an adventurous tour in Alta Fjord. Explore all the area has to offer in terms of wildlife, nature, fauna, and history while taking the time to truly soak it all in with all your senses.

As you cruise through the water, the captain will tell you all about Alta's rich history, including the "Tirpitz," the German warship, the English ore mines, and the Northern Lights observatory. Time will fly by as you listen to these fascinating stories.

This tour will also take you to unique spots where you can observe beautiful birds. If you're interested in birdwatching, you'll encounter various birds on the cruise, including storm petrels, seagulls, cormorants, and the mighty sea eagle, to name a few. While the boat navigates through Alta Fjord, you may also occasionally catch a glimpse of porpoises.

The tour starts at Fiskerihavna (harbor) in Alta. You must arrive 30 minutes before departure. At the meeting point, you will be provided with warm coveralls and life jackets. Once everyone is ready, you will walk with the captain to the boat.

We place great emphasis on safety and never go on a tour if there is any risk that we cannot guarantee the safety of our guests. We offer flexible options such as postponing the tour to the next day, switching to a different experience, or refunding the tour.

Prices:

• 2 hours: 980 NOK for adults, 495 NOK for children (3-12 years)
• 3 hours: 1540 NOK for adults, 770 NOK for children (3-12 years)
• 4-5 hours: 2190 NOK for adults, 1095 NOK for children (6-12 years)
