Experience an exciting King Crab Tour from Fiskerihavna (harbor) to the crab field in Alta Fjord with Icecube of Aurora. Join us on a 2,5-hour tour and witness the capture of the popular King Crab.

The King Crab is caught in a box-shaped trap called a "pot," which is then hoisted up from the sea and onto the boat. You can observe the captain at work, as he has done this many times before. Once the King Crab is on board, you can hold it gently and take photos with it.

The tour starts at Fiskerihavna (harbor) in Alta. You must arrive 30 minutes before departure. At the meeting point, you will be provided with warm coveralls and life jackets. Once everyone is ready, you will walk with the captain to the boat.

We place great emphasis on safety and never go on a tour if there is any risk that we cannot guarantee the safety of our guests. We offer flexible options such as postponing the tour to the next day, switching to a different experience, or refunding the tour.
