The tour goes to the crab field in Alta Fjord. The red king crab is captured in a box-shaped trap called a pot which is then pulled out of the sea and into the boat. You can observe the captain while he works, as he has done many times before.
When the king crab is onboard you can hold it carefully and take pictures with it to brag to your friends and family.
We will tell you the story of how and why it came to Finnmark, and how the king crab went from a problem for the the fishers in Northern Norway to a growing gold mine.
