Experience fishing in Northern Norway

The Alta Fjord is an excellent area for proper Northern Norwegian fishing. On our tours you can fish cod, coalfish, haddock, redfish, and atlantic halibut to name a few. As locals we know of great fishing spots where you can test your “hall” (Norwegian word for “fishing luck”).

We focus on the fish that our would rather fish – if you have any particular wishes, just let us know before the trip and we will setup the proper equipment for it.

Be at sea and feel disconnected from everyday life

If you ever have been on excursions or fishing tours with large groups, you know from experience that the excursions often becomes impersonal and stressful instead of relaxing and fun. That is why Icecube Of Aurora only works with small groups – this allows the guests to get to know the captain and ask questions, and it also allows the captain to notice whether or not the guests are enjoying themselves, so that he can handle the situation straight away.

The well-being and experience of the guest is always important.

Focus on safety

Safety and security are the most important thing on our tours. In Finnmark, the weather often dictates what is possible or not, and as a policy the company will not run a tour if we cannot guarantee your safety. In such cases, we will be flexible and postpone the tour to the next day or offer another adventure that is safer.

Do you need any help?

In order to have the best possible experience it is important to come to an agreement before the tour. Some of our guests prefer to let the fish out into the sea again, while others wants to take it home with them – in that case we can be helpful with filleting, cleaning and packing.
